What a disappointment that there aren't any spoilers here yet. Well, I'll try and get things going by mentioning Ain't It Cool's interview with co-creator Damon Lindelof. www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=18582Interesting hints: 1. Characters defined as "good" may not stay that way. 2. Quote "We've always loved the idea that one of our series regs goes traipsing off into the jungle with one of the castaways we've never seen before. The audience is thinking the poor yahoo with one line is gonna die a gruesome and horrible death, but then it's the REGULAR who gets wiped out. It will be done. Watch and see. " 3. He hints that one or more of the "survivors" did not get on the island due to the plane crash.

Actually, it's a board for the show "Cold Case". They have a section on there where you can talk about other shows and "Lost" is one show that we talk about.

I'm guessing, and this is only specualtion, that Locke was not on the plane. Hopefully one of the next episodes will prove me wrong or right.

Someone online said they saw Locke sitting behind the woman that Jack was talking to on the plane. I let my sister borrow my tape so I haven't been able to check yet. Interestingly, someone else said Hurley was sitting behind that woman, too.

I saw Locke on the plane....doesnt mean he wasnt a plant or maybe his presence in their memories is fake. Or maybe hes just a random guy taking advantage of the situation.....if he does do this.
Im a big loser and when trying to tape the pilots both wendsdays not to mention on the repeat on saturday my vcr malfunctioned so I dont have a tape, sigh. But one thing im interested in knowing, is if Locke is in all of their flashes...because that would be a sign hes somehow projected in all of their memories by some outside source.

When I watched the pilot and the second episode I do remembering seeing Locke on the plane. He is sitting behind the lady that Jack is talking too.
As for Hurley, I can't remember seeing him but I'll watch it again.
Of course, I haven't seen Sawyer, Sayid, Boone and Shannon, Claire, Michael, Walt, Sun and Jin yet. Hopefully, we'll see them soon and learn their stories.

In Charlie's flashback, when he's running from the flight attendants, he runs through a row of seats and upsets poor misunderstood Shannon, who then says, "Excuse me!". Boone's sitting next to her. She's on my list of the people I wouldn't mind sacrificing to The Beast for kibble.
My guess is that Jin & Sun weren't on the plane. Locke's too easy...but, of course, he is involved somehow.

Maybe one or more of the "Survivors" who werent really on the plane might be one of the background people who we havent been introduced to yet.
I dont like the idea of a regular getting killed off. At least not before we know their "story"

The question in the interview was asking whether we'd meet anyone in upcoming eps that didn't get on the island by the plane crash. Damon answered (hinted) that we already have (maybe). So, by the word "meet", I'm assuming it's a character we know, not a background figure that we haven't. But, of course all the clues are just speculation at this point and the creators could just be messing with us.
Yeah, I don't like it when regulars are killed off -- unless I hate them, then I'm okay. Such as Shannon -- she can go. And if they have to go, better that they go before we get to know and love them. Although, because of LOTR, I already love Charlie, so if he's killed I'll have a hard time. And unfortunately, I do get the impression that he could be one of the characters to get it.

While I hate to see beloved characters killed, BtVS did this to great emotional effect with the shooting of Tara. I like that a show doesn't pull punches, and makes you think of it as real, not scripted, life.
