maybe he didn't get the memo, Lumberg may need him to come in on Saturday.
As for Locke what we have been givin' so far is that he is a war/action junky. I'm guessing he is a Vet or some kind maybe Vietnam and was paralized. I mean he has had some kind of military training no doubt.

I believe at one point in a flashback, Locke's boss mentioned that he has checked his record and that he had never served in the armed forces. ( I could have misheard, there were people in the room while I was watching) More of an enthusiast than anything. The TPS report gave me an Office Space flashback as well.

You're correct, Egg on Stilts. Locke's boss did say that he checked Locke's record and found out that Locke never served in the military.
To me, Locke was paralyzed but wanted a normal life and that's why he went to Australia to go on that walk. Of course, he couldn't do. Don't tell the man want he can and can not do! LOL
I thought it was interesting to hear about Helen and then come to find out that she seemed to be a 1-800-sex line operator, I guess.
To me, the miracle that he mentioned to Walt is about how he can walk. He is now living his life that he wasn't able to.

I, for one, am extremely impressed with what they did with Locke's character.
Of course, I'd expect nothing less from the Buffyverse's most experienced writer.
