Ok I love talking about implausibility in the land of make believe. Anyone else?
I'll start with the fact that there could have been one survivor, let alone 48. A plane of that size coming in at a terminal velocity would leave a grease mark and thats about it. No way does it land in a nice soft slide allowing people to not only live, but walk around seemingly minutes after. Jack seemed to wake up in the middle of some trees, how did he get there? If he flew out of the fuselage on impact, how was he not crippled?
Does anyone think that the crash is a miracle? Are we going to go down that road with this show? Or are we just going to assume that it is logical that 48 people would walk away from a crash of this magnitude.

We are either supposed to suspend belief for the premise of this show, or the idea of anyone surviving this crash is simply one of the mysteries of this show that will come out through time. Didnt someone say a miracle took place?

Yeah all sections must have threads. But its a good thought, the chance of any survivals at all. With JJ Abrams running the show, that question is probably an important one, that has an answer we havent even thought of.

Yeah, there seems to be something "fishy" about the whole thing. It could be something we just need to overlook, but I am thinking that its more likely that there is an unexplained reason for so many people surviving, that we will learn later on.

I think the survival thing has to do with the mention of the miracle by Locke. Something about a miracle occuring here before. Other than that, I suppose we can all live the suspension of disbelief in order to enjoy what has turned out to be a kick ass show! ;D

There's not a snowball's chance in hell that a jet engine is gonna be operable enough to spin up and suck a guy into it.
